Would you like to play to play more boys' volleyball? Junior Olympics Southwest volleyball may be for you!
SWVC (Southwest Volleyball Club) is entering into its 16th year and exists for the benefit of those to achieve excellence in the sport of volleyball, and promote interest in the local community. Any player from any school is welcome at SWVC. We believe our program teaches individuals to excel, promote competitiveness, family unity, and develop leadership skills that transcend athletics into every aspect of a member's life.
The Southwest Volleyball club supports volleyball in Northeastern Ohio by offering competition and developmental programs for junior players and coaches. SWVC offers playing and coaching opportunities for volleyball enthusiasts from 6th grade through seniors in high school.

The 2010-11 Season:
Preseason free open gyms will be offered !
Open gyms will be held at Royal Sports & Fitness Center - Directions can be found on Direction tab Only 15 minutes from Great Northern. No cost! just for fun, we will pickup teams, anyone welcome! complete waiver a door.
Practice would begin in November, and some preseason scrimmages or “friendly” tournaments will be run at the end of December. Most of the core season tournaments
are scheduled in January and February, concluding with Boys championships in Columbus at the end of February. The boys will travel to Parma, Columbus, Dayton and possibly Chicago or Rochester, and PA during the core season!
Boys high school seasons typically start the first or second week of March, and the JO teams take a break until June. The teams will reconvene to practice and attend local tournaments again in June, with select teams attending Boys National championships the first week of July.

Our 2011 team structure has not yet been finalized Tentative plans are to host a 14 yr old and younger team, and hopefully a 16, 17, and 18 team in 2010/2011.
SWVC ‘s cost structure for 2010 may be viewed under Player contract on required forms tab. Payment plans are offered and SWVC is a non profit organization under IRS code - non profit tax-exempt organization, so fund raising may help offset player fees.
SWVC structures its programs to be in full compliance with all state rules and regulations as understood. (see www.ohsvca.org for details) If this is your first experience with Junior Olympic volleyball, remember that not all USA Volleyball rules are the same as high school rules. SWVC Volleyball is committed to providing players with the best possible opportunities to improve their playing standard through high quality practices using the best coaches available, and a comprehensive tournament program. Practices are focused and intense. Our goal is to help members achieve their potential and move on to the highest level appropriate to their ability.
