Background:
SWVC normally practices twice per week, starting the end of December for girls & early November for boys. Practices will be held at Royal Sports, O Falls Middle school, CCS, Strongsville, and SJA academy.
We normally attend at least 8-9 tournaments and regionals for girls, and at least one National qualifier; some older girls teams may attend two. SWVC plans on attending as many larger american challenge tournaments as feasible. We try to keep younger teams as local as possible, while facing a very competitive schedule.
Boys' tournament schedules change yearly depending upon availability. Regional teams normally attend some local events, a tournament in Dayton, 1 or 2 in Columbus, possibly Chicago or Rochester, and Regionals in Columbus. Nationals teams may also may attend Penn State, Rochester and USAV Nationals - in Atlanta for 2009. We will try to keep younger boys teams as close to Cleveland as possible.
Our plans are to also run girls skill camps in December!
